There is no place on earth like the country of Georgia. One of the earth’s most biodiverse places, it produced many things we eat and drink today and many plants live only there. For over 8,000 years, this small piece of land on the crossroads of Europe and Asia has protected an ancient art of winemaking and today it is waking up in a big way. Shota Natroshvili the winemaker of Teliani Valley tells the story and struggle of how Georgia managed to give birth to wine and survive as a place to this day.
